Guess what?!
Yellow Raspberries do exist! Yesterday, when my mother told me that yellow raspberries had grown in her little garden, I could not believe her. She showed them to me, and indeed, they were yellow!
One may think that they are mutant raspberries, but they are misled. Actually, they are natural and belong to the same family. What a delight to find out such unusual things!
Folk who know my blog from its ouset are about to cry out. I think it has become a kind of ritual to show you each year their getting back on my balcony - Of course my dears I am talking about the very same pigeons. Actually, it seems to be the 'babies' which took flight last year. They are quite plump but still very cute :) So again a new photo among the thousand ones - I know I have been repeating myself over and over again about those birds but I really love them.
And now another topic! Let's talk about Easter! It has been a great festival with a lot of food and chocolate - I am quite sick now I hope I will not have an indigestion. I have not finished my Easter cards so you will no doubt see throughout April many posts about them - I hope you will not be bothered I am really sorry I did not have the time this weekend.
On April 15th my blog will be 1 year old - I know that you don't give a ... :D In two weeks I have holidays so it means I will spend all my spare time on my photographs and illustrations! And also - maybe - a quick trip to London again! I'm looking forward to being on holidays fellows! What a jolly Spring in prospect - except the exams and the fact that I hate this season...
the baby pigeons. They are gone! The first one left us the day before yesterday and the second one flew off today. I am so glad! I'm going to sleep well until next Summer - no more stress! It means also that until next Summer, there won't be any articles about them anymore! So lucky you are Folks! :)
You are going to hate me, I know, as I'm going to talk about the pigeons on my balcony again! I also do not promise this is the last article about them. I'm so fond of them! So, despite the cold weather we do have, the eggs have hatched and the baby pigeons are still alive! Day after day, they are growing larger. In a few weeks, they will fly off and I hope that until next Summer there will be no more eggs.
As promised, I have uploaded two photos of my mum's scarf in a tree:
A few days ago, I took two photos of the pigeon I told you about.
Now, I can tell you that I saw 2 eggs in the nest. I’m praying the weather not to get colder. At night, it is very windy!
Today, my dog did not feel very well and decided to throw up under the nest on my balcony. I do not know how I am going to clean it without scaring the pigeon. This is a nice day, really.

Farewell! They're gone! The little pigeons took flight! Here you have the last photo I took of one of them before it took flight. I'm a bit nostalgic, I'm going to miss them :(. Nevertheless, I found today, when I was walking my dog, one of the pigeons in a tree :).

New photos! There are 2 eggs that hatched a few weeks ago. I suceeded in taking a photograph of one of the "babies". Actually, in a few days, I think, they will try to take flight, as they have more and more feathers :) But, their mother is going to lay eggs again - they always come twice every year - on my balcony. I think everything is going to be fine, I hope their first flight will not be a failure...
I'm so glad that I can't keep still!!! I'm happy to announce you that one of the 2 eggs (the pigeon I told you about which is on my balcony), hatched a few hours ago. I do not know if it is a male or a female lol. At least, it is very cute!! It is very hairy, I can't see its eyes, and it has a black beak!!! I hope it will stay alive, I keep my fingers crossed :).
Hey, Hey! Summer comes, and my friends come again! I'm glad that they got used to this place. This is the third time they come to lay their eggs. But as usual, they are a bit stressed because of the crows. Last time, the eggs fell from the nest...
New flowers in my "garden". I like them simple, staightforward :) I have been working on a new series of photos, with an old mirror... I'll say more soon, I promise.
