Yes. I know. I know I'm late. There aren't enough hours in the day. Let us go back to work, and quicken the pace this time - Chronos won't do me the favour of slowing down a little, just for once.

December project

It is no joke, December is here - already?! It has brought the cold and high wind in Paris, no snow yet... The countdown to Christmas has officially begun, and each one of us can be openly panic-stricken now. But let us not forget the joy and excitement that one gets from the very expectation itself.

This year I embark on a new personal project of mine, a project that will somewhat serve as an Advent calendar; I am going to make a Christmas decoration a day until December 24th, and every day a piece will be put on display here on my blog. What's more, some of my Christmas decorations will be available for sale in my shop for those interested!

INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROJECT

A Christmas Eve in Bruges

At this rate five Christmas will have passed when I finish my Christmas illustrations - let's hope not. The Christmas cards marathon has started for me (since the end of September), and I am wondering whether I will finish my cards on time... There are about ten projects in my sketchbook that are waiting to take shape. A Christmas Eve in Bruges is the first one of the series, I hope you'll like it.

Despite the lack of time and my very slow progress, I can at least be delighted to see that patience does not totally fail me; I managed to paint all the bricks, and I must say that I love the result.

Princess of Laziness

Because of Christmas Holidays I have become lazy - Princess of Laziness! I know I have not written very often for the blog - only illustrations have been published - and I am sorry.I want to tell you that the shop will not be open indefinitely as I have to pay 6 euros every month to keep it open - so you can buy my cards until the beginning of January. I promise I will stop being lazy but I do not know when :)

Christmas Holidays

Thanks God it is Friday! Tomorrow starts a new day - I am on holiday!!! Yippee!! I will have time at last to take loads of photos and to draw!!!!!! I love holidays!! I love Christmas even if it is a sad time for a lot of people - I have noticed that many people I know, some from my family, died just before Christmas. Yesterday for the first time there was snow in Paris!! Amazing!
