A Christmas Eve in Bruges
At this rate five Christmas will have passed when I finish my Christmas illustrations - let's hope not. The Christmas cards marathon has started for me (since the end of September), and I am wondering whether I will finish my cards on time... There are about ten projects in my sketchbook that are waiting to take shape. A Christmas Eve in Bruges is the first one of the series, I hope you'll like it.

Despite the lack of time and my very slow progress, I can at least be delighted to see that patience does not totally fail me; I managed to paint all the bricks, and I must say that I love the result.
To be continued...

A day in Gent
Cloudburst. Deluge. Downpour. Drizzle. Fall. Precipitation. Raindrops. Rainfall. Showers. Rain. Every time I go to Belgium, it is raining. Sadly for Zeus, it did not dishearten me as I am a lover of rain - peculiarly when the clouds are gloomy, and the sunlight pierces through them. Gent is far bigger than I imagined it, far bigger than Bruges; I must say that it is a piece of cake to loose one's way in its streets. Eventually I caught a cold, but I am so very glad I have visited that wonderful town! Bruges and Gent must be an enchantment at Christmas.

A day in Bruges
It dawns on me that my outing to Bruges last Sunday, was the very last one before my starting the new academic year. Actually, I have not taken in yet that next week will be the end of my Summer holidays - what a terrible blow it is going to be! I will have to say goodbye to the dear lie-ins everyday of the week, and will have to study very hard. Anyway, I must keep my spirits up! Bruges is a picturesque town where one must surely takes delight in living. Every house possesses gigantic windows; shafts of light shine on the rooms, and enable to enhance the space inside - would love to live in one of these houses one day. As you can see, loads of photos were taken while I was wandering in the streets of Bruges - very inspiring I must say!
